Dubai Municipality has announced the winners of its inaugural Food Elite Program, a government initiative recognizing establishments excelling in food safety. His Excellency Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality, led the awards ceremony, praising the winners for their commitment to maintaining high food safety standards and inspiring others in the industry to do the same.

In the Standalone and Formal Dine-in Restaurants category, Clap Restaurant (TFGate Village Building) claimed first place, with Leila Restaurant (Downtown Boulevard, Clarens Tower 2) and Bab Al Mansour Restaurant (The Lofts, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard) securing second and third, respectively.

In the Hotel-affiliated Dine-in Restaurants category, Meditrano Restaurant at Armani Hotel (Burj Khalifa) took the top spot, followed by Cucina Restaurant at Marriott Resort (Palm Jumeirah) in second, and Brasserie Restaurant at Sofitel Dubai (The Obelisk) in third place.

For Quick Service Food Outlets and Cafeterias, Trader's House (Dubai World Trade Centre) was awarded first place, with McDonald’s (Blue Tower) in second, and Al Baik (Al Diyafa) in third.
The awards were presented at the 18th Dubai International Food Safety Conference, which runs until October 23 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This recognition not only celebrates the accomplishments of these establishments but also encourages the wider industry to raise the bar on food safety and social responsibility, setting new industry benchmarks.
